Covid 19 Policy

All our team will follow strict infection control guidance, including:

  • Wearing and changing surgical masks, gloves and aprons between patients.
  • Washing hands with virucidal handwash (using surgical 7-step technique) between patients.
  • Only 1 patient will be permitted in the waiting area at a time and patients will be asked to keep 2 metres distance from other patients.
  • All patients will be asked to use virucidal handwash/hand sanitiser upon arrival to clinic.
  • All patients will be requested not to bring friends or family to accompany them into clinic.
  • All patients that experience (or that live with anyone) with any of the following symptoms will be requested not to attend clinic, but to call NHS 111 for further advice: fever, fatigue, a new cough, loss of smell/taste, diarrhoea or vomiting.
  • We will be regularly cleaning door handles and shared surfaces with a virucidal agent throughout the day.
  • iPads will be wiped with a virucidal agent between patients.
  • All appointments will be extended to reduce patient flow in clinic.
  • Patients who require a repeat of their creams or prescriptions will be able to contact us by phone to arrange delivery direct to their home
  • Any staff who are feeling unwell or showing any symptoms of COVID-19 will be asked not to come to work and will undergo urgent COVID-19 testing.
  • Any staff living with anyone feeling unwell or showing any symptoms of COVID-19 will be asked not to come to work for 2 weeks.
