Acne prone skin
Superficial peeling with Salicylic Acid provides a powerful keratolytic and sebum-regulating effect. The treatment helps to control sebaceous secretion, reduce and refine pores, and even skin tones, as well as providing a deep cleansing treatment for oily skins.
Ageing
Glycolic Acid is one of the most frequently used Alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA). It is highly efficient for controlling and reactivating cell synthesis processes. This peel increases levels of moisture in the epidermis and reinforces the skin’s natural barrier function.
Dry dull skin
A moisturising peel that can be used on all skin types including sensitive skin types to improve the appearance of a dry or dull complexion. The treatment properties help in achieving a more even skin tone. The peel stimulates new collagen and elastin fibre formation, making it the ideal cosmetic treatment for skin that needs brightening and is displaying early signs of wrinkles.
Oily skin
A non-irritating exfoliating treatment designed for oily skin. The peel helps improve the texture of thick and oily skin and reduces the appearance of pores. This peel also targets pigmentation irregularities, evening out your skin tone.
This peel is designed to manage Acne, preventing persistent breakouts and calming current blemishes with its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It is also ideal for dull, slightly wrinkled, and sensitive skins, treating chronological ageing, leaving the skin with a clean and clear complexion. This Peel contains three acids; Lactic Acid is used as an exfoliating agent, it activates collagen and elastin formation as well as increasing Hyaluronic Acid concentration in the extracellular matrix; Salicylic acid is used for its ability to regulate oil production along with it antiseptic and anti-bacterial properties to really clean and sooth the skin; Citric Acid is used for its anti-ageing and antioxidant properties. The combination of these three acids helps with the recovery of lost skin tone, texture and luminosity.
Acne, acne scarring, rosacea
The peel helps to treat all phases of Acne. It can also help with dark spots and Rosacea and has anti-fungal properties. This peel consists of two acids. Azelaic acid acts as an antimicrobial against bacterial acne and also normalises the keratinisation process of follicles. Salicylic acid acts as an efficient peel in correcting Hyperkeratosis, skin flaking and controlling sebum production.
Pigmentation
This depigmenting peel is especially formulated to treat most forms of hyperpigmentation including sun damage, age spots/liver spots and post inflammatory. This peel contains three acids that work together to treat melasma and other melanic hyperpigmentation. Azelaic Acid is used to treat melanoma due to its tyrosinase inhibitor effect. Resorcinol, improves skin texture and combats hyperpigmentation. Phytic Acid is a depigmentation and antioxidant agent, and is a strong acid which upon application to skin causes superficial chemical exfoliation. Together these Acids work to reduce melanin formation.
Peels are a chemical exfoliant usually derived from fruit acids, helping to gently remove dry, dull skin cells to reveal the softer, smoother skin underneath. Our MesoPeels®, range from superficial, medium, and deep.
Peels are measured in strength by percentage. Our experienced Skin Practitioners are here to discuss your expectations. During the consultation, you will complete an in-depth Skin Analysis allowing us to prescribe the correct protocol for you.

We are unable to treat anyone who hasn’t prepped their skin prior to treatment with the necessary home care. This is to prevent any reactions or restrictions of treatment on skin that isn’t used for medical-grade skincare and aesthetic treatments.
Most of our peel protocols are one peel every two weeks, for 12 weeks, 6 peels in total.
Our Global eye con Protocol is weekly for six weeks, while our Cosmelan DePigmentation Peel is 2 in-clinic treatments spaced 48 hours apart, and a strict 6- 9 month at-home skincare regime. We offer something for everyone, depending on time, budget, and desired outcome.
The most common question we get asked is will my skin peel off? Most of our peels are designed to be pain-free and carry minimal downtime if any. It can be common to feel a slight heat and tingling sensation whilst the peel is on. Following this, your aesthetician will provide a cooling mask that will help to soothe, protect and hydrate your skin.
Whether your concern is active acne, breakouts, or scarring, or whether you are just looking to feel fresher and brighter, even younger, we have a MesoPeel to target every concern.
After our Lactic and Glycolic peels, expect glowing, radiant and hydrated skin, with a smoother tone and texture.
After our Acnelan courses, clients have reported a massive reduction in cystic and comedonal acne, scarring, open pores, and overall cleanliness of the skin.
Results can be seen in as little as two weeks but will continue to improve throughout the course of peels with best results at 3 months following full treatment and homecare.
Most of our Peels are non-invasive, showing no signs of any side effects, however, some clients may experience slight peeling, redness, or dryness. Fast skin repair by Mesoestetic is to be applied to the skin to significantly reduce any peeling or irritation.
We recommend you continue to avoid any self-tan, AHA’s, BHA’s, and Retinols for up to 14 days post peel. Also exercise and heat treatments i.e sunbeds and saunas, waxing, and threading is not advisable for 14 days post peel treatment, or until the skin is fully intact and healed.
You must –
Discontinue use of any exfoliating agents (scrubs) 48 hours prior to your peel treatment
Discontinue use of any Retinol, AHA’s, or BHA’s, and take care to avoid self-tan at least 7 days prior to treatment.
Avoid waxing, hair removal, bleaching, and sunbed use 14 days prior to your peel.
Notify us if cold sores present within 14 days prior to treatment.
We recommend the use of Mesoestetic® Peel Booster Serum 15 days prior to any in-clinic MesoPeels. Please incorporate this AHA product into your routine slowly and build up your tolerance.
